Multimedia Designer

Pixel8 is seeking for a MULTIMEDIA DESIGNER to join our team of creative problem solvers. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience and a portfolio that reflects branding, packaging and digital design capabilities. This position will work independently on assigned design projects, or as a member of a project team, creating unexpected design solutions from concept through completion, based on supplied strategic and creative input. Good communication skills are important, as is the desire to work alongside a group of fun, talented people in a collaborative environment free of egos and personal agendas.

Responsibility

Video production, visual effects and graphics animations tools such as Adobe After Effects
Develop visual design prototypes ranging from comps to interactive mock-up
Visual design, storytelling, and data visualization
Create infographics, iconography and other visual assets which help communicate specific message to the audience

Qualifications

Highly motivated and volunteers idea to the group
This person should be well-versed in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other industry software and have a working knowledge of production processes, including printing, paper and ink specification, typography, stock photography, computer retouching and image manipulation.
Excellent time-management and prioritization skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task across projects
At least 2 years of relevant experience
A portfolio or ability to demonstrate capabilities would be highly regarded
