As a Purchasing Assistant, you will be tasked to support the Purchasing Team of the company. You will also be responsible for identifying suppliers, researching goods and services, processing purchase orders, and verifying delivered items.

Responsibility

  • Act as receiving officer for Purchase Requests from other departments.
  • Research potential vendors.
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts).
  • Conduct market research to identify pricing trends.
  • Prepare cost analysis.
  • Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts. (vendor profiles, compliance forms and Transactions)
  • Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders.
  • Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition.
  • Prepare Documents.

Qualifications

  • Good understanding of supply chain procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheet.
  • Knowledge in market research.
  • Evidence of practice of a high level of confidentiality.
  • Solid organizational skills.
  • Clerical Skills
  • Must be willing to work full time and long term.
  • Must be willing to be trained.
